Metis Test Tokens
How to get Metis test tokens for Hyperverse development.
Getting Started
Metis test tokens allows you to develop and test Metis applications without having to spend any real money. Before using Metis on the Hyperverse, you will need to get Metis test tokens and move them to the Metis Stardust Testnet using the Metis Bridge.

Set up MetaMask
Open MetaMask and verify that you have Ethereum on the Ethereum Rinkeby Testnet.
Need Ethereum on MetaMask?
If you don't have MetaMask with Ethereum on the Rinkeby Testnet, see MetaMask for more details.
Select Import tokens to and import Metis to MetaMask using the Metis token address.
Metis Token Address: 0xe552fb52a4f19e44ef5a967632dbc320b0820639
Select Add Custom Token and then select Import Tokens
You should now see 0 Metis in your MetaMask wallet.
Fund your wallet Metis Tokens
Navigate to the Metis on Rinkeby Faucet to get Metis Tokens.
Click Get and choose Confirm to begin the token transfer.
Wait for the Transaction successfully completed alert to appear on your screen.
Your Metis Tokens should now be in your MetaMask wallet. You will have lost a bit of Ether from the transaction fee.
Bridge Metis to Stardust Testnet
Navigate to Metis Bridge to bridge your Metis Tokens to the Stardust Testnet.
Select Connect Account and Connect to Metamask to give access to MetaMask from the Metis Bridge.
Input the amount of Metis you want to bridge to the Testnet and click Approve.
Click Confirm in MetaMask to give the bridge permission to access your Metis.
Review the transaction details and click Confirm to start the transaction.
Click Confirm within MetaMask to confirm the transaction.
Wait for the required number of block confirmations for your transaction to complete.
After the confirmation is complete, you will see that there are 0 Metis in your Rinkeby account.
Add Stardust Testnet to MetaMask
Navigate to Chainlist.org and search for Metis to view the Metis Stardust Testnet.
Click Connect Wallet to select Connect start the connection to Metis Testnet from your MetaMask wallet.
Review the connection details and click Approve to add the Metis Testnet to your MetaMask wallet.
Click Switch Network to allow MetaMask to switch to the Metis Startdust Testnet.
You will now see the Metis tokens in your MetaMask wallet from the Metis Stardust Testnet.
